Andreoli Vineyards is a two generation family owned and operated boutique vineyard. Our family focusses on growing the highest quality grapes, money can buy. This translates into fantastic grapes for wine-making, and delicious wines for drinking.
Our motto has always been to listen to nature. Working sustainably with nature to improve our grapes and vines means we get the best fruit possible.
Our focus on one varietal means we know what we grow and we produce the best of it! Cabernet Franc is a beautiful small berry grape grown on vigorous upright vines with dark-green, 5-lobed leaves. The berries are blue-black in color and typically quite small with fairly thin skins.
Cab Franc is quite similar to Cabernet Sauvignon due to having many of the same phenolic and aroma compounds. Cab Franc tends to be more lightly pigmented however and produces wines with the same level of intensity and richness. It also portrays a beautiful perfume with notes of raspberries, blackcurrants, violets and graphite. It is often characterized by a green, vegetal strike that can range from leaves to green bell peppers.
Our wines complement many foods including steak, spicy pastas, and just about any food pairing you can imagine. With our light Rosé, to our sweet Dessert Wine, and the straight Cabernet Franc, there’s a wine for every palate.
Jim and Trish Andreoli have always held the dream to one day own and operate a vineyard in California’s beautiful wine country. Today, that dream has been realized in the wonderful Central Coast region of California’s wine country. The greater Paso Robles wine country provides the perfect environment for them to realize their dream. Creating high quality grapes and wines, just like Jim’s family from Italy did.
Trish’s green thumb and winemaking knowledge paired with Jim’s hard work ethic and love of the outdoors created the perfect combination for this endeavor. Their son Jimmy’s business background brought in the second generation to this family venture.
